     Rambert's spear whistled through the air as it pierced the right eye of the wurm. He swiftly dodged the thunderous strike of the wurm's tail, and quick as his sore and tired limbs allowed he clambered up the back of a massive boulder. The slickness of the wet moss nearly caused him to slip before his hurting fingers again found purchase on the boulder. He had hoped the boisterous crashing of the waterfall would mask the sound of his movements. The Wurm's long neck wildly thrashed about until it had broken Rambert’s spear so that only part of it remained lodged in it's bleeding right eye.

     Once perched upon the top of the massive boulder Rambert had in a single swift motion leaped from the boulder while he drew forth his sword. Skill and luck upon his side he had managed to land upon the angrily thrashing wurm's scaly haunches. Fire spouted from the wingless beast as smoke and steam raised up from the river and its bank wherever the wurm's lethal breath blasted.

     Rambert clung desperately to the beast’s back as he climbed the wurm's neck towards its shaking serpentine head. His sword thrusted deep into the beast's left eye, sending it into a murderous frenzy. The scaly beast had began to thrash even more savagely as Rambert desperately clung to his blade, still stabbed deeply into the very back of the beast's eye socket. He found himself grunting and groaning as his body was battered against river boulders. After the third smack into the rocks he lost his grip and fell to the ground with a soft splash as he landed in the shallows.

    Both his armor and body had been battered to the point of uselessness as he drew forth his dagger, but it fell from his grasp as he had to quickly roll out of the way of the wurm’s deadly breath. He rolled and ducked out of the way of the lashing tail, gnashing teeth, stomping clawed feet, and fiery breath. His hands clasped his dagger once more as he had found himself in the shallows of the river. Gripped tightly onto his dagger as to not be parted with it again, Rambert rolled until he found himself directly beneath the massive chest of the wurm. Savagely and repeatedly he had thrust his dagger upward into the beast's chest like the story of the elf king of old until he broke both dagger and the scales covering its heart.

Hopefully Released Before Christmas

Good News. I believe that my co-writer is almost done with editing my story of Wurm's Blood.  He has under 50 pages left to edit for the story.  So hopefully it will be done before Christmas.  Not much more to talk about then that so I'll end it here.

November Update

I haven't really done much writing sorry folks.  So I've not really been updating so I apologize for that.  I know this is a blog on my writing but I have been working on getting familiar with the software of Blender to make my story ideas into animation.  It's probably going to be a slow process but here is a cup I made.

I think it looks pretty good but I'm sure it has a few things that I need to work on to get it looking better.  I can also make an okay doughnut. I need to do a few more tutorials and hopefully I'll be getting ready for making animations by the middle of 2019. :D

Well not much more to say here so I'll end it here.  Hopefully I have news in a few months of The Wurm's Blood editing by my co-author being done just in time for Christmas.

My First August Update

I haven't really worked much on Troth Keeper or my other tales, but today I did finally manage to work on Troth Keeper at last.  I wrote up two whole scenes for it.  Hopefully they're good. Well not much more to say so I'll end it here.

Apologizes For Neglect

Within the last couple of days I have not done much writing to speak of to keep you, my readers, up to date about.  I've been busy with other things, which I will not trouble you with.  However I can say that my co-writer is now working on an edit of Chapter 8 of Wurm's Blood.  Not much more then that to tell to you at the moment.  Well have a great weekend of fun and sun.  I'll type more later when I have more to say.

Harlan Ellison Died At 84 on June 27th 2018

I know that both that this is now old news and not the usual type of things I post on this blog,but Harlan Ellison is one my favorite authors, who I admire and greatly respect and it saddened me greatly when I had first learned of his death.

He was 84.
Christine Valada tweeted that Ellison’s wife, Susan, had asked her to announce that he died in his sleep Thursday." - Taken from Variety to give some context to those who may not know who Harlan "one of the greatest modern writers" was.  So that given I felt it fitting to show this video of him talking about Ceasing to Exist back when the public had been misinformed of his death back in 2013 but this time sadly he is actually gone.  So without further ado here is the man himself talking on youtube, despite his dislike of internet technology.

Been Working on My Short

What have I been up to lately?  For those that are curious your answers are swiftly coming in this post.  I have still been writing up the short which will bridge Wurm's Blood and Werden Aus Wurmslayer.  This short will be known as The Trothkeeper.   I have some snippets of said short story on my deviantart account which I will link here in this blog post.  Also just today I drew up a map and world notes on a special project I am working on in the near distant future I hope.  Not much more then that to say.

Happy 4th

Happy 4th for those that celebrate it.  And a happy day to those that read my blog.  This is somewhat of a July Update.  Last night I wrote up three more scenes to Troth Keeper, the short story that is going to rest between Wurm's Blood and it's sequel Werden Aus Wurmslayer.  I just need to transfer them over from paper to the document on my computer.  Speaking of Wurm's Blood my co-author is finally on editing chapter 7.  Yay!  Here is hoping he works on it some more today.  Well not much else to type so I'll end it here, wishing you all my best to you.

A June Update

Dear Readers of This Blog,  Thank you and hope you have been enjoying the content.  Okay so here is your update.  The other night I wrote up a new scene to add more depth to Wurm's Blood.  I had my co-author insert it into his edited document as he has yet to reach editing the chapter it belongs.  So it is in the final editing phase.  Once he finishes his edits I will release Wurm's Blood as We want to provide you with the best product possible. :D
