A long time ago

I apologize to anyone that reads my blogs as I am not very good at keeping my blog updated; especially with my busy life, but I'm sure you all have busy lives as well.  However today I thought with my trying to finish my novel Zmeij I would discuss some of it's influences.

I was inspired by several series to create the world of Zmeij, namely the anime last exile (which is very awesome, you should definitely check it out if you haven't), Dune, and oddly enough and lastly Keeping Up Appearances

An Update

I have written a few sentences here and there on Zmeij, but finding it hard to write the Lera scenes since she is an addict, and I have little experience in addiction so it's somewhat hard for me to write her character.   That's probably one of the reasons she has few scenes in Zmeij.  I just have to get passed her scene so I can go back to writing characters that are easier for me.  I also have come up with a cool new character for my 3rd Book in the Ashes of the Fallen Series...I'll just tell you her title is the Queen Mother, actually I think she is the only character in the series with that title.  I think it fits given the personalities of the Queens of Thabia, which is the Queendom she rules.

While I have been walking to work I've been reading and editing the first book of the Ashes of the Fallen Series.  I plan on doing the same thing with the 2nd book and maybe releasing them together in print form as one book, which I will call simply, Conspiracies in the Dark.  I have also written up some scenes with the Queen of Thabia, but not much else for Book 3.  Well not much more to say so I shall end it here with an apology that I've not posted much on here.  Have a good day.

Free Novella sort of?

After watching the end of BBC's Merlin I got an idea for a story and then I felt it'd fit perfectly into my Ashes of the Fallen World. It is a tale of unlikely friendship, which has probably been told many times but I felt I wanted to tell this story so I am doing it anyway :P  Moving on I am gonna post links for this spin off series set in the past of my Ashes of the Fallen world.  So without further ado here it is.

An Update On Things

I have not updated on my blog in a while and thought I'd let those few still reading it now what's going on.  I haven't been writing as much as I should.  I feel burned out everyday cause of my normal job keeps giving me these weird hours every week.  I just don't feel like working on my writing.  I am not sure why, but it appears I may have the dreaded Block.  The sad thing is almost done with Zmeij.  I am in the process of trying to write where they all meet up and have the final events of the story, but I just haven't felt like writing it for some reason.  Maybe I've lost touch with the story, which is what I dread as up to this point it was flowing very well.  I am still hoping to have the main story of Zmeij done by March.  However i also had some ideas for alternate universe shorts I want to include the main book since I have no plans at present to write a sequel for Zmeij.  While nothing more to say so I'll end it here.  Thanks for taking the time to read the post of this negligent blogger.

November Update

I apologize for not posting in such a long time, but I have not had much to say.  Since I have finished book 2 of Ashes of the Fallen I have re-plotted it out, and I figure that it shall be only six books in length as I decided to focus more on certain aspects of the story so I can begin to write the four book sequel to finally answer the Question that these first six books shall be the backdrop for the Answer to that Question.  Now that I have spoken of Ashes of the Fallen and it's sequel series of books I shall now tell you that in my spare time I have been working on a special book that is unlike most of my published writing.  This book will not be for those conservative in mind.  It is book with a few radical ideas.  I have spoken of it before in passing.  It is called Zmeij, and I hope to have it done by the end of March 2016 or April.  I am halfway done writing the rough draft of it.  This book will most likely have the most inside art, and all it very beautiful, in my opinion.  I have a total of 18 pictures in mind for it so far, not including the already beautiful cover I had drawn up for it by another very talented artist.   Well not much more to say on things, so I will type more when I have more news.
