Secrets In Wurm's Blood, Forthcoming Novel That Is Not In the Book But Is Explained Here.

CONCERNING NIFLGAR:

Given the fact that for the most part Niflgar is a barren land of ice the Inhabitants of Niflgar raid other realms/worlds for food, supplies, treasures. Otherwise they settle for the fish or eating the other races within the realm.  The glitter beetles feed off the ice and the droppings of the larger animals, eg trolls, frost giants, and other such creatures.

The reason that Finnart avoids glowing later when in Niflgar as their light source is due to the fact that using his style of magic would immediately alert the Niflgar to their location and intrusion into their realm.

CONCERNING THE SCENE WITH FINNART AT THE SHRINE WHERE HE VANISHES:

This is what actually happened that surprised the guards. Here is what happened that was not seen by Eckerd, Finnart had transformed himself into beetle and had crawled out unseen by the guards from his robes. Frightened at the old man’s abrupt disappearance the guards sounded an alarm. Finnart quickly dug into the snow and was tunneling his way towards the temple ruins in that form. He rejoins them in his smaller form and completely nude, he decides to climb up Eldgrim and sit on his shoulder.

HOW THE GOBLINS GOT RAMBERT'S LEG:

While the body part was being escorted to it's true destination Goblins had raided the humans thinking with that much armor and weapons they had to be guarding something very important in their chest, and decided they wanted it for themselves. Upon realizing it was just a leg they adorned it with jewels and presented it as a scepter for their queen the Goblin Mother, Grizelda.

EXPLAINING GRIMNIR'S STORY:

Gullweig and Edsel invented Grimnir’s story to explain the Guard on the hill shrine not far from the main stronghold, where they could keep watch to ensure that Rambert’s still conscious head never left it.

WHAT HAPPENED BEHIND THE SCENES AFTER RAMBERT'S "Death":

Gullweig wanted her daughter to marry the newly coronated King Edsel. After Rambert’s death she kills her daughter after poisoning the King and for four years acts as Regent over the infant before she dies of old age.

 PLAYERS BEHIND THE SCENES:

The God Wynaz has favored Carlin's Family and that of The Dauni Kings.

The Champion and favored of Froujr are Rambert and Eldgrim.

Gullweig was favored and manipulated by an unseen player in the game, the goddess LΓΌk, who is a female version of the Norse/Germanic God Loki.

Affordable Christmas Gift Idea, aka Shameless Self Promotion Entry

Here is an idea, if you have a friend that likes fantasy I have a book that may interest them and if you haven't bought it why not buy a copy for yourself.

Shadows of Souls  only $2.99

Extract from Shadows of Souls:

"Darkness.  Darkness.  Darkness."  She kept mumbling that word over and over again.  Lady Betlinde  Byrr did not understand how her cousin, Reyner, could stand being constantly in the woman's presence, even if she was his sister.

Her cousin Elphina had been dressed in a stunning yet simple spun gown of pale green that her hunched posture ruined the effect.  Her faded white lace gloves clutched tightly the arm of her brother, Reyner.  Elphina wore her hair loose with no jeweled ornaments, only a string of fresh blue crocuses had been woven into a line across the top of her head.  Around her neck she wear only a single strand of gold.

Unlike her cousin, Lady Betlinde Byrr, wore an ornate red gown that flowed elegantly off her shoulders, and spread slightly out underneath her from the back with a golden collar and cuffs.  Lady Betlinde had pinned her golden locks to the top of her head with many bejeweled hair pins, old family heirlooms from the Fall of the Raihoparran Empire.

Her white gloved hands spread wide as she welcomed them, standing upon the path that lead into her estate.  She smiled at her two cousins, "Welcome, my dear cousins.  I cannot remember the last time I have had the pleasure to entertain yourselves."

She could hear Lady Elphina's constant muttering of 'darkness' even as she had spoken earlier.  She did not wait for a response from them as she quickly began to lead them across the mostly smooth gray flagstones that ran along the Estate's Eastern Path.

Lord Reyner remarked as he made to follow her down the path, "It has been many years, indeed, Betlin.  I am glad that you could meet with me today, let alone to be invited to your fine home.  I assure you I am greatly honored to be received at the Main House here."

She smiled slightly having almost forgotten her cousin's nickname for her in their youth.  She remembered how he had been so uncouth and climbed the trees in the gardens in the rare visits his branch family had made in the past.  Now dressed in dark reds and even a few sapphire rings and golden pendant bearing House Byrr's sigil, a winged ram made of platinum with golden horns and ruby eyes,  he cut a very different and handsome picture with his dark blond locks and handsomely chiseled face.

She could still faintly hear those murmurings from Elphina, but she brushed them to the back of her mind as she lead them off the path and out into the garden proper of the Eastern side of the Estate.  A large stone gazebo rested at the center of the garden, and was large enough accommodate a group of twenty people.

Betlinde seated herself at the head of the table as her servants began bustling about with tea and trays.   Her guests seated themselves to her left, Elphina's hand still clutching onto the arm of her brother, her head bent downward as though she was staring at the table.   Her female cousin's eyes staring beyond the intricate flowers and rams designed into it to some daydream that Betlinde could not begin to fathom.

A servant began to pour the sweet smelling tea into their cups.  Amongst these bustling servants were Mordrek slaves.  Naturally House Byrr had these Mordrek slaves all properly educated and spirits broken from long centuries of service to their illustrious House.  Though to a commoner their clothing appeared elegant and tasteful as far as the nobility, such as Betlinde herself, were concerned they were dressed in rags; old clothing that had not been fashionable in Ainar's Court in centuries.  The Byrr Family had given these slaves the chance to raise up above their savagery to be part of something far more noble and improve their lives by joining civilization, even if it was only as slaves.  They were better off for they were part of a cultured and true civilization, or so Lady Betlinde and like minded nobles thought of their Mordrek slaves.

Reyner took a sip of the sweet smelling tea and smiled, "Mm.  The balance of flavors is quite good.  I have not seen Uncle at Court for several years now.  I trust that Uncle Arnuad is well?"

Betlinde returned the smile, "My father is quite well, and it touches me that you are so concerned for his welfare.  He spends much of  his time locked away with his books, reliving the past glories through tomes rather then at Court."

The truth of the matter was that her father had become a hindrance to her goals and those of the Empire that truly desired to achieve greatness once more, at least in Betlinde's mind.  She had him locked away in his library with his 'precious' books.  Books that he had put more value in then his only child, who should have been born male.  Locked away she now had complete control and in his name acted as the Head of House Byrr.   She continued to smile despite her loathing at her father being the topic of conversation at the moment.

She tried to change the subject away from her father, "Though as I said it touched me to hear your concern, I trust that is not the sole reason you arranged this meeting, dear cousin?"

Betlinde took a shallow sip from her cup enjoying the subtle flavors of the tea.  One of the servants helped her cousin, Elphina, to pick up a cup in both her hands.  The servants urged the daydreaming noblewoman to drink before the tea grew cold.

While the servants tried to help and urge Elphina to drink the tea Reyner himself placed his tea cup down and leaned forward only a little, "Indeed I have come with serious intent in mind, Betlin.  Your passionate words at Court have moved the hearts of many.  Mine included.  Your position and concern for the Future of Ainar is a Truth many recognize, but fear to voice.  Your words will not doubt bring our House to be the rising star at Court, and I merely wish to offer all my support and that of the branch families to you."

Betlinde smiled pleased with how things with her handsome cousin were unfolding.  She only wished that the annoying hissing drone of her dotard of a female cousin in the background would cease.

She heard the tea cup shaking between her cousin's hands as her voice grew ever louder until it was almost shouting, "Darkness.  SERPENTS!!  BROTHER!  Serpents in the Shadows!  DON'T GO!"

Reyner hissed at her as he took her hand and squeezed it to try to calm her, "Silence yourself!  I am right here, and trying to make important arrangements with our cousin."

She quieted her voice from a shout down to a mutter.  Her eyes glazed and looking at some daydream that had her body still shaking so that some of the tea sloshed out onto the table as the servant who had been trying to get her to drink quickly set about cleaning up the spilled tea.

Lady Betlinde took another sip from her cup, her thoughts of wonder at why he did not simply keep the wretched woman locked up somewhere.  Her cousin, Elphina, was not fit for these social occasions.  Elphina had claimed since childhood that she had the ability to see into the future, but when the girl had turned thirteen her powers began to frighten herself.  Yet despite her claims, Lady Betlinde and the others had never once seen a single of Elphina's visions come to pass.  They dismissed them as nothing more then fanciful daydreams.

"I am glad of your support.  I see that you are indeed a man of wisdom to ally yourself to the main house."  She said smiling.  "Perhaps we can now discuss the particulars what form this support shall take."

The sound of the tea cup shattering upon the ground interrupted further talk.  A long, thick line of tea spread out heading towards Betlinde.  Elphina had returned for the moment from the daydream and now stood with terror piercing her eyes as she stood with her hands tightly gripped onto her brother, pulling on his sleeve.

She frantically begged as tears streamed down her face, "Brother no.  Do not enter the Serpent's Maw.  Please brother no.  Do not let the Darkness eat you.  I don't want to be left alone.  Please don't leave me.  Please...we have to get out of here."

He brushed her off of his arm, clearly annoyed with her behavior, "Enough of this nonsense!  I am sorry to burden you, but do you think you could arrange for my sister to be taken home.  Then you and I can discuss our plans for House Byrr at greater length."

Betlinde smiled glad to be rid of her annoying and insipid female cousin, "Of course, cousin dear. I would be only to glad to be of use to you.  As I no doubt you plan to be glad to help my plans for our Empire."

"Please..no don't leave me. The Darkness comes!  The Fires come!  Please...don't leave me."  Elphina ripped his sleeve as the servants forcefully separated her from her brother.  Betlinde knew that her cousin was lost once again in some imagined and foolish fear from her daydreams.  Elphina struggled as she was lead away from them, fighting the servants as Lady Betlinde lead her cousin, Reyner away from the Gardens and into the House proper.

December Update First One

Recently finished up the latest fight scene in Wurm's Blood.  I usually struggle through fight scenes as I am not very experienced in this area and hope it doesn't show too well that I am not good at them in my stories.  Plus still really liking the cover for the novel.  Chapter 18 is apparently going to be another one of those long chapters written for this.  For Chapter 18 I have the following scenes to still write up with it; finding the exact location of Rambert's arm, Rambert and friends run into trolls, getting to the castle, confronting the Frost Giant King and the Dark Elf Queen and get back from the castle with Rambert's arms.  Well not much more to say except that I will type more when I have more to type.

Probably The Last Update for November

The cover is finished and aside for one minor detail I will not mention I am pleased with it.  I love just about everything for the cover for Wurm's Blood.  I just wish the book was almost finished but it still has six chapters left of the rough draft, not counting the chapter I am currently writing, which is probably going to be another rather large chapter considering everything that has take place within it.  Not much more to say so I'll leave you with the cover illustration.

Another November Update

I know, I know.  I have been really bad about updating this but I have been working on my novel Wurm's Blood.  I wish I had the luxury to do NaNoWriMo, but it takes me forever to just to write a normal novel.  If I didn't have to hold down a normal job or was more dedicated maybe I would try to do NaNoWriMo but I would rather try to get out my current novel as fast as I can without worrying about NaNoWriMo, and I have been working on Wurm's Blood.  I am in Chapter 18 and nearing the home stretch as only six chapters remain of the story.  I am at 88,000 some words approximately, and nearing novel length for a fantasy novel which I believe is around 100,000 words.  I think I will easily make it to at least 90,000 some words so I'll be close to it official novel length for the genre I am writing in.  But I am digressing from the true point of this post.  I finally got around to commissioning the cover illustration and it is looking truly awesome so far.  I am enjoying writing up the scenes as Rambert and friends have at last arrived in the realm of the Dark Elfs.  I am looking forward to the confrontation between Eldgrim and Yseult the Queen of Niflgar.  Not much else to say so I'll end it here and wish you all the best and hope you are as eager to read Wurm's Blood as I am to finally finish it :D  I'll type more when I have more to type.

A November Update

Wrote up more of Wurm's Blood scene today with my co-author as well as edited more of it.  I am now at 81,600 some words.  I do not have the goal of 100,000 words but I will not deny it would be nice to get very close to that high before the end, since that's the average word length desired by most publishers for novels in the science fiction and fantasy genre.  I also have a new picture that just got done for it.  The scene of is of the overly emotional reunion between the Zauberer Eldgrim and his elf lover, Sif.  I will type more when I have more to type.

Update

I know I have been bad about updating on here.  But I have been trying to work on Wurm's Blood and I only just recently edited it some more with my co-writer this previous week and I also wrote up more of a scene tonight, finishing it off.  Not much more to tell other than that.  But I am working on trying to get this story done.  Hopefully it'll be ready by summer.  I am hoping.  I don't do the november write a novel in a month thing.  I have enough trouble just writing a novel normally without trying to get it all done in one month.  Well not much more to say so I'll end it here.

More Updates

Been being more productive and actually worked some on Wurm's Blood.  I got a little disheartened when I found out a whole section of a fight scene went missing on me.  Sadly since I couldn't remember how things went down exactly I simplified the scene, hopefully the scene is better for the fact.  It got edited today and turned out fairly well.  I have also have for the most part the end of Chapter 17 written up today.  The last paragraph needs to be rephrased and once my editor has gone over it Chapter 17 well be done for the time being.  Not much else to say and thanks to anyone who read my past blog and purchased a copy of my books.  And speaking of my available books they are going down in price permanently to $2.99.  It may take a day or so for the price change to take effect on amazon.

An Update

Firstly I'd like to apologize for not updating this blog more frequently as it has been a whole month since I have posted on this blog.  My excuse which like all excuses is a poor one.  I have had a lot of chaos recently in my life from losing my job to having to move in with a friend from another state.  My room is still in the process of being transformed into my room.  I had to get a rid of a lot of my possession as I have to fit it all into one bedroom my friend was kind enough to give me.  Sadly my room is still in a state of under construction so to speak so it's kind of a mess with junk piled up in corners on the floor as the room still needs to be cleared out of what was in it before I moved in.  I have also been busy trying to find employment, and though I am finding a lot of places to apply to I am not hearing back from them.  I am hoping I can pick up a job with the holiday season, just to give myself some temporary money, but even that doesn't seem to be panning out at the moment.  So I haven't been really working on my project of Wurm's Blood.  And since I moved in with my editor he's been far too busy helping me with things as well to work on editing what I do have done of my story.

Starting this week I am going to try to work on Wurm's Blood, despite the fact I don't have the money for a cover for it.  I still need to get this book done.  Sadly I think that I will not able to commission any more inside art then what I have already done for the book.  I know a book isn't about inside art, but they have always been little motivators to me; plus I enjoy seeing a visual representation of a scene from my stories.  If you wanna help me out if you have a kindle read a few pages or you can buy my book if you enjoy my little snippets and have the cash to spare.

August Update

Wrote up another scene to Chapter 17 of Wurm's Blood.  Almost done with Chapter 17 in rough draft form.  Not much else to say.  So later.

Yet Another Update

I didn't end up going over the story today with co-author, but I did write up some on Chapter 17: A Leg With A View: Which should be a good chapter I hope. I have only seven more chapters to write and in theory the rough draft of Wurm's Blood should be done.  Then I am going to make/order a proof so I can catch any errors and then after that I should have it for public release with all the awesome art and stuff in it.  I am thinking/hoping I should have Wurm's Blood done around Christmas time.  It'll make a nice gift to give to some of my relatives.

I was also able to fit in the Finnart/Rambert scene that I wasn't sure if and even where it would sit in the story; but I found the place for it.  It's a pretty funny scene and it went into this chapter. It had to be before Rambert gets his body back and I was worried I'd not be able to put it in as it's pretty hilarious to me.  It was a scene written by my co-author.  I love when I can keep his stuff in the story as his scenes usually cracks me up.  The only thing I had to write up for this Rambert/Finnart scene was what leads up to it.

More July Updates

Another Update for July.  I worked more on my story.  I also started work on a new project called The Records of the Last War.  It is basically going to be based after the Franco-Prussian War and World War I but in a fantasy setting with wizards, but no monster races or mystical creatures in actuality.  They have legends of them, but I am thinking they might have existed at one point in the world's history but died out.

One of the characters I am developing is a wizard/sorcerer known as The Goblin of the Academy due to his recluse nature and possibly somewhat dark sense of humor.

I am at 74,028 words approximately for Wurm's Blood and I am only just now halfway through the Dagmar Arc of the story.  After Wurm's Blood I plan on writing a sequel to it at the urging and encouragement of it's co-author. I have a couple of names for titles in the sequel but no closer to an actual title for Wurm's Blood sequel.  I still also plan on working on another fantasy series called The Cycle of Invasions, which is based on Irish mythology.  I may change the name of the series for it if I come up with a better name, but the first book in the series is gonna be entitled "The First Ones".

You can sample some of it here:

Another July Update

I recently found my map for Wurm's Blood, and going to have my co-author redraw it as I think he can probably do a better job at cartography then myself.  I have half of chapter sixteen of Wurm's Blood finished, it merely needs my co-author to go over the scenes with me.  Slowly I am making progress on getting Wurm's Blood finished. I am at 73,000 words approximately. If interested here are some snippets/passages I have decided to share on Deviantart, which I think are good.

July Update

Money is tight recently due to summer and lack of work from my day job, so haven't been able to commission any more artwork for Wurm's Blood, sadly.  But on the good side I am now at 66,200 some words approximately. That means I am getting closer and closer to a number that is considered by the literati to be a true novel length. Wurm's Blood has only eight chapters remaining according to my outline for it.  The problems have lately been me and my co-author getting up the time or energy to work on it.  I am working on Chapter 16 at the moment and just finished writing up a couple of scenes today.  So hopefully my co-author will help me edit it tomorrow night.  Not much more to tell, so will type more when I have more to have you so informed.

Another June Update

Worked more on Wurm's Blood with co-author.  It's going well so far I think.  I am half way done now with writing up Chapter Fourteen of the novel.  Plus some cool inside art has been done so far by the awesome :D Destinyfall

June Wurm's Blood Update

Another chapter done and another started.  Yay!  So tonight went over chapter 12 with co-author/editor and it turned out good I think.  If you wanna see a snippet you can check out what we went over here on this link

Snippet

2nd Post of June

Yay!  I have chapter 12 of Wurm's Blood finished and got a start on Chapter 13.  Last night me and my co author had gone over some of chapter 12 and hopefully today we go over the last bits of it that I just now finished writing up.  Also saw the sketch of the Eldgrim Sif picture and it's cool. I really love how it's turning out.  Not much more to say so I'll type more when I have more to reveal.

Thursday, June 1, 2017

I just wrote up all of Chapter 11 today and went over it with my co-author for Wurm's Blood and the scene is hilarious...he actually caught up to what I had written and we started to interchange a scene together on google drive.  It was a lot of fun as it dealt with Rambert and Eldgrim reuniting after being apart for 200 years...it was hard to remember that Dagmar and Eckerd were in the scene as they are not as loud as Rambert's and Eldgrim's personalities.

Here's a little sample of the fun:
First Snippet:

A group of children seemed to be growing around a makeshift fire pit not far from the wagon. The fire had died down to glowing embers with half burnt sausages staked to the ground near it. The nine children, boys and girls of various ages but none older than twelve, giggled and shouted out towards the wagon, “Magic! We wanna see magic! Please, heckenzauberer show us magic!”

An annoyed bellow issued forth from the front of the wagon as a dark striped white bearded face emerged, “Silence! You noisy brats! You there, the fat one! Get away from those sausages!”

______________________________________
Second Snippet:

A nervous laugh had issued forth from the old man’s lips as he denied the claim, “Eldgrim?  Eldgrim...I know no such person.  I do not know what your game is here, but get out!”

Rambert indignantly responded, “Get out? Well that is a rude greeting for someone you haven’t seen in ages. To think that after all this time I would be get outed by my good old friend Eldgrim.”

In a rage now Hrothmund stood up too quickly and bumped his head against his fetishes sending them swaying and bumping into his face, “I am NOT!  I repeat NOT ELDGRIM!  I am Hrothmund.”

It was then that Dagmar noticed that part of Hrothmund’s beard seemed to be falling off one side of his face.

“Look, I know we didn’t part ways under the best of circumstances the last time I saw you but surely after two hundreds years we can let that slide.  Besides, if I can recognize you in that stupid get up and bad makeup surely you can recognize me, Rambert the Extraordinary Slayer of Wurms and Trolls.”  Rambert said a little put off with the Heckenzauberer.

Hrothmund waved a dismissive hand, “Impossible.  Everyone knows Rambert died fighting the Savages of the North..though how with his immortality did confuse me.  But logic doesn’t matter in this situation.  All know that Rambert is dead and you my friend are nothing more than a very fine piece of gear work….although despite your insolent and foolish tongue I will give you two gold pieces for this gearwork so that I can study it.”

“Impossible? I'm a talking head and you think it is preposterous that I'm your old friend who you share a blood bond with? You ungrateful blood drinker.” Rambert retorted still indignant.

Sunday, May 28, 2017

Had a lot of fun last night going over new scenes of story with co-author on Wurm's Blood.  There is a lot of material I don't use that he throws out as jokes, but for some reason most of them are pretty hilarious, and the rest are really bad puns/jokes.  So I got a start finally having chapter nine edited by my co-author which made me happy, and topped with getting some sketches this morning of the next pieces of inside art.  I have been having a little writer's block on the next scene and figuring out how Eldgrim/Hrothmund comes back into the story.  I have off on Monday and Tuesday so hopefully I can focus more fully on getting the scenes for chapter 11 written up soon.  Will type more when I have more to say.

Another May Update

I noticed I've been updating a lot more on here lately.  I also have this cool idea for a trailer I'm gonna put up on youtube for my Wurm's Blood once it gets closer to release date time.  I may need it to put the music together.   So last night I worked with co-author and we got one scene done, which is better then getting none done.  Plus he finally finished the "boss fight" of Kiel, Edsel and Rambert's choreography.  I hope I did it some justice as I fleshed it out into more of a narrative from descriptors of the event.  Also I finally started to write up Chapter 11 of Wurm's Blood.  The edited document which only covers up to part of chapter 8 is up to 40,350 some words approximately. Not much more to say so I'll type more at you later :P

CHAPTER 10 FINISHED

Okay I just now wrote up the tail end for Chapter 10, the Alberich and King Asmundr The Third Scene.  I am going to try to get a start on Chapter 11 today....at least on paper if not on the Computer. I do probably half my writing of the draft on the computer and the other half on the paper.  I usually end up fixing it up from the paper version, sometimes adding more flavor to the scene from the paper draft version.  Not much more to say so I will type more when I have more type.

Post Script: Inside Art for this one is looking amazing so far imho.

Another Update

I think I have Chapter 10 of Wurm's Blood Finished.  I am coming up to the part where Eldgrim comes back into the story as well.  Things should start to get really fun to write as Eldgrim and Rambert have become quite a couple of unique characters in my opinion due to their various and different experiences.  The two characters have grown in strange ways from their beginnings...well Eldgrim is somewhat static, his growth and change are far more subtle then Rambert's I think.  Not much more to say so I will type more later when I have more to reveal.

The Return of Rambert

I wrote up the first scene of chapter 10, namely the first scene with Rambert in two or three chapters since his disappearance from the story.  It's a pretty good scene I think, but again that's just my opinion on the matter.  I didn't end up going over the story with my co-author for editing so hopefully we can do some editing on Monday as I have plans for the weekend.  Plus the Spider and Elf Scene inside art is looking awesome so far :D  Later.

The Head Is Near

Rambert is soon returning back into the story. I have just finished up writing the scene where Dagmar and Eckerd enter into the Shrine of the Cursed Head.  It might be a chapter or two before Eldgrim returns back into the storyline.  Not sure exactly when or how they find him.  But I think I will enjoy when both starting characters are back in the story.  Also got an awesome picture of Eldgrim from his scene of being outcast for a second time; but by a different clan.  Tonight I plan on working on editing tonight with my co-author if all works out. Type more when I have more to share.

FREE!! For Those That Are Interested

For those that are interested from May 18th to May 22nd I am offering a free copy of my e-book omnibus  Ashes of the Fallen Volume 1: Shadows of Souls:

SHADOWS OF SOULS

SAMPLE PASSAGE FROM SHADOWS OF SOULS:

Elgion crawled into the cavern, looking for the Guardian, but all that greeted his
vision were various sized hills of various shades of green, red, blue, black, purple,
gold, and colors he had never before seen, with smoke curling about them. These
great mounds and small ones he knew could be none other then the Sleeping Ones,
the Dragons which he sought.

Out of the thick smoke the Guardian appeared before him and threw wide his arms, "Behold Narse Ar KΓΆrΓ‘ly, the last bastion of The Avaeniri, The Sleeping Ones! Do not be deceived by our numbers. When they awaken many will alas succumb to their wounds from the last War of Fire, and crumble into the dust.' there was a momentary pause before the Guardian spoke again, 'So wake them. I am curious to see how you shall accomplish it."

The Nathrak King grimly made his way through the nests of eggs, and great mounds until he stood before a massive black dragon. He locked eyes with that deep purplish black depths that stared into a world of dreams. Elgion the Fourth raised up his right hand and began to incant the ancient spell that had been passed down throughout the Ages from Nathrak King to Nathrak Prince, "Anulyx Nathrak, oroth bahair ethod dae kel denmaharl. Anulyx Nathrak, oroth bahair ethod dae kel denmaharl." His hands making the proper gestures as he had continued to speak the ancient words of sorcery that bound Nathrak to Avaenir.

He felt the surge of energy raising up, and the smoke of the black dragon's breath curling about him. He continued to chant as he heard the amused laughter of the Guardian ringing in his ears as he tried to ignore him and continue to chant. Then the black dragon's massive tail lashed out, breaking the chant and sending the Nathrak King flying through the air to bump into the red dragon not far from it. He held his aching chest and stood. He felt as though a rib had been broken from that heavy tail smashing into him. He looked to see that the black dragon had shifted but still remained asleep. But he would not be daunted by that fact. It was his destiny to wake the Avaeniri, and he knew it, fore why else would the KalkirkujΓ€ Gamul order him into the Crystal Stair Mountains to wake The Sleeping Ones.

Elgion looked at the red dragon's sleeping eyes, and spoke the incantation once more, this time focusing his energy upon waking the red dragon, "Anulyx Nathrak, oroth bahair ethod dae kel denmaharl!"

More Updates on Wurm's Blood

It seems I am just rolling right along as tonight I finished up Chapter Seven.  I just have to have my coauthor go over it with me and I shall have Chapter Seven finished. Hopefully he will feel like working on it later tonight with me.  I know I should be sleeping, but when the Muse strikes you, you just have to write and consquences be damned!  I know I have work today, but I can always take a little nap before going into work as I am working only a four hour shift today.  1pm-5pm :D  Yay for a short work shift.

Yet Further Update

I am trying to post more regularly on this blog so this is I think the most I've kept my readers up to date which I hope isn't an annoyance, but I digress from the point of this post.  I have a good start on the rough draft for Chapter Seven of Wurm's Blood.  However, I am still waiting on the final fight scene of Chapter Four Days of Blood and Battle to be written up by my co-author.  I also commissioned up some more inside art.   Also it figures that I cam up with an idea for a new novel series just when I am concentrating on this one.  After Wurm's Blood I am going to create a novel based on Irish Mythology from the Mythological Arc/Book.  The First book of that series will be called the First Ones, which will be based after the story about the First Invaders.

Further Update

I am at 28,122 words approximately on Wurm's Blood.  I just finished Chapter Six tonight.  I am still waiting on my co author to write up the basics of an important fight scene, and for him to help me edit what I wrote up for Chapter Six.  I have finished the Rambert Arc of the story with this and I can now focus on the rough drafting of the Dagmar Arc of the Wurm's Blood saga.  also got in more lovely inside art.  Here is a sampling of the art from the chapter I call The Sword's Riddle.

This next scene is from the second Chapter called The Zauberer's Price

Even More Updates

I seem to be making good progress this month on blogging.  I have another update for you, my loyal few readers of this blog and my works.  I have just finished writing up the final scene for Chapter Six of Wurm's Blood, now I just need to figure out how to start Chapter Six. Once I have finished Chapter Six as I have said before I will have the first part of Wurm's Blood done and then can start the Dagmar Arc of the Story.  Plus the artwork so far for it is looking awesome :D  I will type more when I have more to tell you so until then.

More Updates

Still working on Wurm's Blood and last night I forced my co-author to go over what I had written up so far.  I am drawing ever closer to the end of the Shadows of Doubt Chapter.  I only have one more scene to write up for it and than I can start the final chapter of the Rambert arc of the Wurm's Blood story.  I just recently wrote up the cornerstone of the doubt scene for this particular chapter.  I have nothing more to say on this so I you will hear from me again when I have more to report. Plus art for this so far is pretty awesome :D

A further Update

I wrote up more of Wurmslayer, this particular scene dealing with Trolls and the Rebel Forces that are still resisting unification of the clans into a Kingdom.  Here is a little snippet from it.

Wurm Blood Status Update

I am almost done with the first section The Rambert Saga of Wurm's Blood.  I have most of chapter 4 already written up, and Chapter 5 will most likely be the end of that section of the story.  I also already have typed up part of the Dagmar Saga's opening section and a few scenes I am not sure where they will sit in it.  So I am slowly making progress on the rough draft.  And most likely this book has been so heavily helped by my friend that I am giving him a co-authorship for it.  I am at 23,000 some words so far.   I will type more when I have more to say.

My Weird Thoughts

This has nothing to do with writing; but just something that struck into my mind.  I know it's probably impossible as I doubt WB ever giving up the rights to the material.  I may or may not get hate for saying this; but after having watched Moana and then the Rankin Bass/Ralph Bakshi movies I was thinking it'd be kind of  cool to see a movie trilogy of the hobbit as animated cartoons from Disney (with disney's interpretation of it) and if done right/good maybe have it followed by a set of six animated movies for the Lord of the Rings (if you count it properly there are actually six books inside the three as each book is broken apart into two books.)

Update on Things

I know I haven't been blogging on here much and in truth I'm probably not much of a blogger as I get caught up with work; both my writing and the stuff that earns me my daily bread and water :P.  I could make false promises to try and write on here more, but let's be honest I probably will only write on here or post when it occurs to me do thus, such as now.  I am still on the Rambert Saga section of Wurm's Blood, but I am fastly coming to the close of the Rambert Saga section of the novel as I only have 2 chapters left to it and then I can start the Dagmar Saga section of it.  I am calling these sections Sagas due to the idea that Old Norse Stories called the stories dealing with the life of people or families such.  Alot of Wurm's Blood is coming from Old Norse, but mainly German folklore in inspiration.  I am not sure if I've posted pictures on here for Wurm's Blood, but maybe this inside art by the ever awesome J. Gaude will wet your appetite for what is to come in this so far stand alone novel that I'm working on.

Another Good Video

Imagination Makes Us Human

I am working on Wurm's Blood still.  Rambert's Saga section is turning out longer than I had originally intended; which is most likely a good thing.  I also refined some things in the Dagmar Saga section.
