I finished my editing.  I am still waiting on the cover for the omnibus, so I decided to differentiate between the two versions I decided to use the original cover for the first book, In The Shadows for the omnibus without pictures.  For those that are interested in reading the book and not paying the more expensive price of the one that will feature the artwork, old and new here is a link to the version that is just text.   Once I have the cover illustration for this new and old featured art for  my novel I will link it.

Yet Another Update

I only have the Epilog to revise on Geometry of Souls and waiting on the cover illustration to be finished and I will soon have an updated Omnibus for my Ashes of the Fallen Novels.  I plan on releasing a version with the pictures and a cheaper version without the pictures on Lulu.com  Not much else more to say.  When I have the links to my first ever Omnibus for Ashes I will post again here with links to them for those that are interested in reading them.

My Ashes of the Fallen Books 1&2

I have recently finished proofing Book 2: Geometry of Souls:  I have made some changes to it along with changes I have made to book 1: In the Shadows:  I just now have to place those edits onto the document stored on my PC.  I already have the changes for Book 1 all done and up on the Nook.  I just have to put the changes into the Second Book of the Series and then once all the new artwork is done I am going to release this new artwork as well as both books in an Omnibus form for those that are interested.  Once I am done with this I plan on working on Wurm's Blood again, and the third Ashes Book, going back and forth between the Two Book Series.  Not much more to say so I'll type again when I have more.

Update on Omnibus

I have all of Book 1 of Ashes of the Fallen edited, now I just have to transfer those edits over onto my computer document.  I am currently on Chapter 15 of said computer document.  I have also gotten a good start on editing the 2nd Ashes of the Fallen book as well.  Once I am done with these edits I will be re-releasing both books in one book; which will be entitled Shadows of Souls.  This omnibus will be available both in a print form and in e-book form.  I have also commissioned new art work for books 1 and 2.  Sadly the nook version due to size of the new art will most likely only have the old art in it, but the kindle and print versions will have the new art I commissioned for it, unless I encounters with Kindle.  I am also working on my story called Wurm's Blood.  I have sense altered the title slightly to use the more Germanic appropriate term; since it has a Germanic base to this story.  Not much more to say so I keep an eye out in the future for the Ashes of the Fallen Omnibus and updates on my story Wurm's Blood (originally Wyrm's Blood)

First Review Ever

I got in my first review ever on something I wrote for the Kindle and now I feel really deflated as they said nothing positive about my writing, but didn't really come out and say anything negative about the writing, but more so about the way the story was handled by me.  T___T so feeling a little down inside from it.  I feel like Kazuki Sendou from Comic Party after he makes his second comic book. I'm not sure what was meant by the over usage of Homonyms as I can't really think were I used a lot of of those unless they are referring to the fact that I had two characters with similar names, but I didn't think their names that similar to matter.  I was having a hard enough time on focusing on my projects with life/work grinding me down, and that review made it just a little harder as it seemed the only thing that got some praise was the Inside Art which I had very little hand in except to describe with pictures and words what I wanted drawn up for the scene.

Zmeij Complete

I finished the last scene in the Alternate Universe Short for Zmeij.  It is now done.  I will have it up soon.  I am just waiting on the awesome cover But don't wanna rush it as want it as it's usual best.  Zmeij will also have the most inside art of my books so far.   Each piece is pure awesomeness and I am very happy with the art for the book   Soon I can start work on my next project, Wyrm's Blood.  Depending on if People like Zmeij and I get good sales I may work on the prequel to Zmeij, Child of the Guild, which was an idea I was toying with in the back of my head as I was working on the endings of Zmeij.  Due to how I ended Zmeij it would be too hard at moment for me to write a sequel to it, but it would be quite easy for me to do a 2 part prequel.  While not much more to say so I'll end it here for now.  Will type more when I have more to type. Keep an eye out for my next post as it will most likely have links to my my next book.

Plans for My Monday and Tuesday

Gonna use my two days off of Monday and Tuesday to clean up the house a little and focus on getting the 2 shorts done from Zmeij, then gonna do a proof copy for me to read through and edit before releasing a print and digital version for mass consumption of Zmeij.  Not much more to say then that.

Nearing Completion

Finished Zmeij.  Well the main narrative of it anyway.  Now all that remains is the 2 shorts and editing it.  I am looking forward to working on my next project Wyrm's Blood.  This one is more in the vein of what I usually write as it's more Fantasy based.  Not to see that Zmeij is nonfiction, but it's just a different animal then Wyrm's Blood or the Friar Fisher series or Ashes of the Fallen.  I think Zmeij is definitely a unique world in many aspects of the word.  Not much more to say so I'll type more later when I do.  Until then keep your eyes open for when I release Zmeij.

Zmeij: The End Is Neigh!

I only have one last scene to write up and the main narrative of Zmeij shall be complete.  Then I will only have to do the 2 short stories that are set in alternate universes of the story.  Those I feel shouldn't take that long at all put out given the nature of them.   So hopefully I will have the story finished before the end of July with all good luck.  Especially since I still have editing them ahead of me. :D  But that usually doesn't take too long, just a few to several days depending on my time constraints.

Another Zmeij Update

Finished the Imperial Ending for Zmeij.  All that remains of the main narrative is the Cold War Ending for it.  Once that is done I just have 2 shorts to write up and Zmeij will be finished.  I am also waiting on a cover for a potential print version for the book. Nothing more to say so I will end it here.

So close to the end

So close to the end of Zmeij but all I did today was sleep.  I didn't even clean the house as I had planned to do.  I guess doing graveyard really does me in for doing anything after work.  So I am going to focus on writing Zmeij now from my notes on my cellphone on my way home from that graveyard shift.

Zmeij Update

Just have one last scene to write up and the Empire ending will be finished onto the last Chapter The Cold War Ending and the main narrative of Zmeij will be finished.  But the book will not be completed until I finish the 2 shorts and edit it.  That's all that will be left.  Yay!  And I will have another book under my belt.  If interested in my samplings and shorts you can check them out here:

THE GUILD ENDING IS DONE

YAY!!!  I finished The Guild Ending for Zmeij.  Now all that remains is for me to write up The Empire and Cold War Endings and the main narrative will be done, and then all that will remain is editing Zmeij :D  So it's looking more and more likely I will have this book done by the end of June :D

An Update On Zmeij

For those that care or follow my writings, I am nearing the end of my novel Zmeij. It is at 43,357 words and growing. Today I am on the last chapter, number 24. However that is not the ending of the book for I had seen 3 ways to end the story and being selfish and not wanting to pick an ending myself I will leave it up to the reader to decide which of my 3 endings they like best. Also included will be 2 short stories that I have a basic start on already, so that shouldn't take me long to write them up. I will update further on here as I feel fit.

An Update

I finished Chapter 19 of Zmeij and I have a good start on Chapter 20.  It is so close to being finally done with the main story line I hope I can get it done by the end of June.  Well the rough draft anyone.  Once I have the rough draft finished going to go back over and edit it.  Once that's over with I shall have it up and ready for sale. :D  Plus as a bonus since this is a stand alone novel I am also including 2 shorts among the bonus material for this particular book.  If I get requests for more Zmeij books I may write another one, but not unless people want one as I have so many story ideas, cause after I finish Zmeij I have plans to finally do Wyrm's Blood as certain things have finally fallen into place that I couldn't figure out before that I now have. 

Well not much more to type so I'll end it here with telling you to keep an eye out around the end of June or the mid-July for my release of Zmeij the Novel.

A long time ago

I apologize to anyone that reads my blogs as I am not very good at keeping my blog updated; especially with my busy life, but I'm sure you all have busy lives as well.  However today I thought with my trying to finish my novel Zmeij I would discuss some of it's influences.

I was inspired by several series to create the world of Zmeij, namely the anime last exile (which is very awesome, you should definitely check it out if you haven't), Dune, and oddly enough and lastly Keeping Up Appearances

An Update

I have written a few sentences here and there on Zmeij, but finding it hard to write the Lera scenes since she is an addict, and I have little experience in addiction so it's somewhat hard for me to write her character.   That's probably one of the reasons she has few scenes in Zmeij.  I just have to get passed her scene so I can go back to writing characters that are easier for me.  I also have come up with a cool new character for my 3rd Book in the Ashes of the Fallen Series...I'll just tell you her title is the Queen Mother, actually I think she is the only character in the series with that title.  I think it fits given the personalities of the Queens of Thabia, which is the Queendom she rules.

While I have been walking to work I've been reading and editing the first book of the Ashes of the Fallen Series.  I plan on doing the same thing with the 2nd book and maybe releasing them together in print form as one book, which I will call simply, Conspiracies in the Dark.  I have also written up some scenes with the Queen of Thabia, but not much else for Book 3.  Well not much more to say so I shall end it here with an apology that I've not posted much on here.  Have a good day.

Free Novella sort of?

After watching the end of BBC's Merlin I got an idea for a story and then I felt it'd fit perfectly into my Ashes of the Fallen World. It is a tale of unlikely friendship, which has probably been told many times but I felt I wanted to tell this story so I am doing it anyway :P  Moving on I am gonna post links for this spin off series set in the past of my Ashes of the Fallen world.  So without further ado here it is.

An Update On Things

I have not updated on my blog in a while and thought I'd let those few still reading it now what's going on.  I haven't been writing as much as I should.  I feel burned out everyday cause of my normal job keeps giving me these weird hours every week.  I just don't feel like working on my writing.  I am not sure why, but it appears I may have the dreaded Block.  The sad thing is almost done with Zmeij.  I am in the process of trying to write where they all meet up and have the final events of the story, but I just haven't felt like writing it for some reason.  Maybe I've lost touch with the story, which is what I dread as up to this point it was flowing very well.  I am still hoping to have the main story of Zmeij done by March.  However i also had some ideas for alternate universe shorts I want to include the main book since I have no plans at present to write a sequel for Zmeij.  While nothing more to say so I'll end it here.  Thanks for taking the time to read the post of this negligent blogger.
